Muito Kaballa Power Ensemble - Little Child

I am well aware, that you have been numbed by statistics, speeches and images of bloated floating bodies. The desperate look of terror in the eyes of Syrians, Somalians, Afghans and other refugees on your TVs leave you cold as ice for there a more pressing issues you say than these.

While Lukashenko, Frontex and the Libyan coastguard do your bidding and give you a free pass, you can now safely proclaim: "There's no blood on my hands, my conscience has no sting!". As you chant this sweet comforting mantra and deny your moral culpability in cold blooded murder, I humbly remind you that your muteness and wishful thinking will not protect you against the impending disaster!

If you were born, on the inside,
you are lucky
you are lucky
If you were born, on the outside
you are not

We inside people, we think of ourselves as,
good people,
We inside people, we think of ourselves as,
good people,

but when the outside people, want to come,
we are scared to say hello
when the outside people want to come,
we want them all to go

We inside people, we think of ourselves as,
free minded,
2x

but when the outside people, want a piece of that,
we put them in a cell,
when the outside people, want a piece of that,
we lock them all away

I've got you on my mind, little child; I'm by your side. Ooh little child don't be scared, I'm right here by your side…").

Aanrader!
